As a family-owned, Alberta-based company, Park Lighting & Furniture has always felt it’s important to invest in the community that’s invested in us. We feel truly blessed, and take joy in giving back.

We think of our charity support as Letting our True Light Shine.

Charity Days

Every year we choose four Saturdays to be our Charity Days. On each of those days, we donate our total sales to a cause of our choice. So, whenever you buy something on a Charity Day, your heart can be warmed with the assurance that the full amount of your purchase will be donated!

Local and Global

We love giving back to our Edmonton community because it's our home. But in our giving, we also expand our idea of “home” to include the global community. So when deciding on causes to support, we typically choose two local charities and two focused on global aid.

Every year our leadership team reviews the organizations we support.

Past Charity Days

The success of our Charity Days continues to rise. Every year, our Edmonton community shows up to help increase the amount we donate to these causes.

Together with our sister store - Cartwright Lighting & Furniture in Calgary - we have donated to charities such as World Renew, Hope Mission and Rehoboth. Our Charity Day proceeds have supported organizations that:

Provide Food, Shelter & Support to People Experiencing Homelessness
Help Feed Hungry Kids & Youth Through Hot-Lunch Programs
Serve People Living with Disabilities
Provide Disaster & Crisis Response Services
Work Towards Ending World Hunger
Focus on Ending the Cycle of Global Poverty Through Education, Microfinancing & Promoting Gender Equality
